About the role#
Join our Immersive team within the engineering group to contribute to software development projects. You will participate in the full software development life cycle while building your expertise in simulation and visual technologies. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, collaborate with industry experts, and work on projects with global impact.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the production team to design features that improve the client experience on our Service portal.
- Develop and maintain web applications used by CAE employees and customers worldwide.
- Write code using C#, JavaScript, and SQL within an Agile framework.
- Troubleshoot technical issues by analyzing, modifying, or updating existing code, design, and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL, and Web technologies (Web API).
- Practical experience with UML, object-oriented concepts, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software integration, and configuration.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing technologies.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong communication skills in English and French are an asset.
- Knowledge of nHibernate, ExtJs, CMS, Azure, WPF, unit testing, or networking is considered an asset.
