    About the role#

    As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will join the Space Systems Division at our Toronto site. You will support the development, testing, and maintenance of flight electronics for our reaction wheel and star tracker products. This role also involves assisting with the implementation of new electronics design software.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with your mentor and other department employees to apply your technical knowledge.
    • Solve real engineering challenges by applying industry concepts.
    • Provide regular progress updates through frequent 1:1 meetings with your supervisor.
    • Participate in tech talks and connect with other interns and employees through professional and social events.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship ends.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience, such as internships, laboratory work, or personal projects.
    • Preference is given to candidates with a 3.5 GPA or higher and 6+ months of applied engineering experience.
    • Preferred technical skills include Python, CAD, soldering, and hands-on experience with hardware like Arduinos or Raspberry Pi, as well as circuit prototyping.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: Full-time, on-site for at least 16 consecutive weeks starting May 3, 2027.
    • Compensation: $60,008 CAD.
    • Note: This position does not offer sponsorship.
