About the role#
This engineering co-op position offers students the opportunity to assist with a variety of software-related tasks across our Software, Computer Tools, Computer Systems, and Integration Specialist groups. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, Florida, with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to senior engineers in the design, testing, documentation, and implementation of software.
- Assist with the installation and integration of software packages.
- Learn new procedures and applications while working with minimal supervision.
- Comply with all company security and data protection policies regarding the handling of proprietary and government information.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's degree program or higher, majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Must be in your junior year or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with C++ and/or C# programming languages.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.
- Eligibility for a Department of Defense personal security clearance.
- Familiarity with SQL, Access databases, Python, Microsoft PowerApps, and Flow is considered a plus.
