About the role#
This Engineering Co-op position offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by supporting various software-focused groups, including Software, Computer Tools, Computer Systems, and Integration Specialist teams. You will work directly with senior-level engineers to assist with design, testing, documentation, and implementation processes.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to senior engineers across multiple software projects.
- Assist with the installation and integration of software packages.
- Collaborate with team members to support computer systems and integration tasks.
- Maintain compliance with company security and data protection policies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's degree program (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Current standing of junior year or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with C++ and/or C# programming languages.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and a willingness to learn new procedures.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract requirements and eligibility for a DoD Personal Security Clearance.
- Preferred: Familiarity with SQL/Access databases, Microsoft PowerApps, Flow, Python, and experience with personal technical projects.
