About the role#
As an Electrical Designer Intern, you will join our hardware engineering team to design, configure, and manage hardware solutions for flight simulator cockpits. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop systems that meet specific project requirements while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the electrical design, conditioning, and support of flight simulator cockpit systems.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and requirements from both internal and external clients.
- Define simulator material configurations and develop bills of material, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
- Collaborate with engineering and production groups on design activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and drawings for simulated instruments and panels.
- Identify technical solutions to address project needs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least 3 years of study or 2 previous internships completed.
- Practical knowledge of CAD systems, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities in a complex, multi-delivery environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Experience with E2A, SEE Electrical, or Powerdraft is preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada and the ability to meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.

- The position operates in a hybrid work mode.
