About the role#
CACI is offering a paid internship for the summer of 2027. This 12-week role begins in May at our Melbourne, Florida office. You will join a team that designs and manufactures high-performance RF components and systems for defense and aerospace applications. You will work directly with the Program Support Manager to assist in the project life cycle and oversee the completion of various tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist managers with planning, tracking, and executing project tasks and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including timelines, status reports, and risk logs.
- Coordinate with supply chain personnel to ensure alignment and monitor performance metrics.
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items.
- Monitor project milestones, deadlines, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with Program Management and Material Planning to reconcile material demand against procurement activity.
- Identify risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain integrated master schedules and customer reports.
- Create presentations and reports for project updates.
- Provide general administrative support to leadership teams.
What you'll need#
- Must be an incoming or graduating high school senior with demonstrated academic achievement, or a current full-time student in Project Management, Operations, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Previous internships in a program management-related field are preferred.
