About the role#
CACI is hiring DevOps/Software Engineering Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This is a part-time internship based in Sterling, Virginia. You will work on the GROUPER contract, which supports Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation projects for the United States Space Force. This role involves contributing to RF collection capabilities and tactical system development.
What you'll do#
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for software and drivers.
- Support system imaging and software releases for tactical systems.
- Setup and maintain servers, developer environments, and development networks.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including mechanical, electrical, computer, and RF engineers.
- Design testing and imaging procedures and coordinate testing for tactical systems and in-house software frameworks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Java or Python.
- Experience working with Linux.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Git, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of computer networking.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship with a salary range of $45,900 to $91,900.
