About the role#
CACI is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 term to support software development and system operations. You will work on multidisciplinary projects, including simulations, command and control systems, and sensor technology. This is a paid, part-time position that requires working on-site.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with a team to build and maintain a web-based thin-client software application.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of back-end services and processing.
- Participate in the design and development of new capabilities and applications.
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications under supervision.
- Support integration testing efforts.
- Derive requirements by working with project management and systems engineering teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of User Interfaces, cross-browser compatibility, web standards, and general web functions.
- Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Python, Groovy, Grails, and Angular.
- Basic knowledge of Docker Containers.
- Familiarity with build tools like Jenkins and GitLab, as well as CI/CD development philosophies.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance as a condition of continued employment.

- This internship is available in Denver, Colorado; Sarasota, Florida; and Sterling, Virginia.
- The role is fully on-site.
- This is a part-time internship for Summer 2027.
