About the role#
CACI is hiring a Business/Systems Analyst Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will join a functional team to support the operation and maintenance of a Department of Defense application. This role involves working under supervision to support the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, training, and production support. You will troubleshoot existing functionality within an Oracle Federal Financials ERP implementation.
What you'll do#
- Gather system requirements and create detailed functional specification documents.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure requirements are understood and to help resolve development obstacles.
- Conduct system testing to validate requirements.
- Provide customer support, training, and develop standard operating procedures.
- Analyze business needs and identify solutions for emerging processes.
- Work with the team to resolve software problems, address customer complaints, and evaluate suggestions for enhancements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time undergraduate program for computer science or a related field.
- Ability to pass a Tier 1 background investigation and obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- A desire to work in an Agile environment.
- Ability to learn an enterprise-wide financial database and train other users.
- Preferred: A GPA of 3.0 or higher, previous internship or work experience, and relevant certifications like ITIL or Security+.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, part-time position.
- Travel may be required up to 10% of the time within the continental United States.
