About the role#
The Research & Development Quality (RDQ) team provides oversight, auditing, and compliance management across the drug development lifecycle. As an intern, you will contribute to project-based work that supports strategic priorities, such as process improvements, data analysis, and quality systems. You will work alongside mentors and experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical quality operations and inspection readiness.
What you'll do#
- Support quality oversight, auditing, compliance, and risk management activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on vendor oversight and compliance initiatives.
- Assist in developing audit risk assessment tools, metrics, and reporting templates.
- Provide project management support, including process design and proof-of-concept activities.
- Explore digital capabilities and innovative solutions to enhance operational excellence.
- Research emerging trends in R&D Quality and present findings to leadership.
- Participate in professional development, networking, and mentoring opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate, master's, or doctoral program in Data Science, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Health Sciences.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university program following the completion of the 2027 Summer Internship Program.
- Students graduating before December 2027 are not eligible.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please include your GPA on your resume).
- Authorized to work in the US at the time of hire and for the duration of the internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of digital tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A self-motivated and adaptable approach to work.

- Locations: New Brunswick, NJ and Princeton, NJ.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
