About the role#
The Commercial Specification Committee (CSC) within Global Quality manages the analytical controls and specifications strategy for our global drug portfolio. This role supports the committee by developing digital tools and automation strategies to streamline specification reviews and administrative workflows. You will work across teams to bridge science, regulatory requirements, and technology.
What you'll do#
- Design and build digital tools to automate the review of Justification of Specification (JoS) packages.
- Identify technical and regulatory gaps in proposed specifications.
- Define the logic and criteria used to assess specification packages.
- Test tools against historical data and refine outputs based on feedback.
- Compile and maintain a structured knowledge repository of historical Health Authority queries.
- Analyze query data to identify recurring themes and scientific rationale.
- Develop traceable summaries of Health Authority precedent.
- Implement automated AI tools to streamline administrative processes, including meeting coordination and document organization.
- Build tracking dashboards and automated notification systems.
- Automate standardized Specification Proposal and JoS templates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Enrollment in school during the semester prior to the co-op.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related technology discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate regulatory guidance into structured logic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to work in a matrixed team environment.
- Authorization to work in the US for the duration of the employment.

- Compensation: $28 - $30 per hour.
