About the role#
This six-month co-op program offers hands-on experience in BioPharma at our Biologics facility in Devens, Massachusetts. You will join projects focused on Supply Chain and Operational Excellence. Participants receive mentorship and networking opportunities to build professional skills within the industry. This is a full-time position running from January through July 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collect, analyze, and present operational data to support process improvement initiatives.
- Use Lean tools like process mapping, SIPOC, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis to evaluate current processes.
- Identify and pilot automation or AI-driven solutions to reduce manual effort.
- Support Tier management, visual management, and Gemba walk activities.
- Create dashboards, standard work documentation, and training materials to sustain improvements.
- Work alongside teams in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Warehouse operations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's (third-year or above) or Master's program in Engineering, Science, Business, Computer Science, Operational Excellence, or Project Management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and modeling.
- Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work as a self-starter and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms (PowerBI, PowerAutomate), SharePoint, Office 365, or SAP is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
