About the role#
We are looking for a Laboratory Intern to join our team in Greenville. You will support laboratory operations by performing experiments, maintaining data integrity, and following established procedures. You will work under the guidance of a mentor to gain hands-on experience in a professional scientific environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform experiments and maintain data integrity using good documentation practices.
- Compare laboratory data against specifications to determine if results meet requirements.
- Ensure the proper usage, care, and return of calibration standards, including timers, thermometers, and reference standards.
- Follow standard instructions and internal Standard Operating Procedures to ensure testing accuracy.
- Enter data into reports, templates, or software systems.
- Execute assignments under the guidance of a mentor.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- You must reside within 50 miles of the Greenville, North Carolina site.

- This position is located in Greenville, North Carolina.
- The role is 100% on-site.
- This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 15 hours per week.
- The schedule is flexible, Monday through Friday.
