About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience within our Human Resources department. You will work on projects related to employee engagement, talent development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. You will collaborate with HR professionals and cross-functional teams to support business operations at our Madison facility.
What you'll do#
- Support HR initiatives including onboarding, training, and employee development programs.
- Collect, analyze, and report HR data to assist with business decisions.
- Maintain employee records, HR systems, and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Create presentations, educational materials, and employee communications for staff and leadership.
- Partner with teams on process improvements and administrative efficiencies.
- Complete assigned projects, present your findings to stakeholders, and share ideas during team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
