About the role#
This position supports Quality Systems projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives at our Madison facility. You will assist with document control, record management, and the maintenance of quality system documentation. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and reporting on quality data, metrics, training compliance, and supplier performance. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Support Quality Systems projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Assist with document control, record management, and maintenance of quality system documentation.
- Collect, analyze, and report quality data, metrics, training compliance, and supplier performance information.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Support equipment, training, and supplier quality management activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Follow safety and compliance requirements.
- Present project updates and results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Quality Assurance, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for a 12-week period during the summer.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze information, follow procedures, and maintain confidentiality of quality records.
