About the role#
This 12-week internship provides hands-on experience within the Supply, Trading, and Shipping business at bp. You will gain foundational knowledge of global energy markets and the commercial aspects of the energy value chain. Throughout the program, you will work with teams across trading, supply, analytics, finance, and logistics to build your commercial and analytical skills.
What you'll do#
- Analyze global energy markets, market fundamentals, and commercial strategies.
- Support the movement of physical commodities and learn how products are transported.
- Contribute to process improvements, technical enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
- Evaluate strategic development opportunities and current market trends.
- Assist with origination and customer-focused commercial activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Eligible to work in the United States without restrictions, as sponsorship is not provided.
- Availability to start the 12-week program on either May 17, 2027, or June 14, 2027.

- Compensation: Paid internship with a monthly salary range between $3,896 and $6,375 depending on your specific degree and year of graduation.
