About the role#
As a Chemical Process Engineer Intern at the Cherry Point refinery, you will contribute to one of the most modern refineries in the United States. This facility produces a significant portion of Washington's fuel needs and is currently transitioning into an Integrated Energy Hub. You will work on-site for a 12-week program, supported by a line manager and a buddy.
What you'll do#
- Support manufacturing and production teams by supervising daily operations.
- Evaluate unit targets and balance unit operations.
- Ensure the reliability of refining technologies.
- Optimize operating process plants and facilities.
- Participate in various stages of engineering projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Chemical Engineering.
- Graduation date between December 2028 and May 2029.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Availability to start on May 17, 2027, or June 14, 2027.

- Compensation: Paid internship with monthly salary ranging from $6563 to $7875.
