About the role#
The Investment Management Sophomore Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship starting in June 2027. You will spend one week in training, followed by nine weeks embedded within the Tactical Value team. This role provides hands-on experience in private market investing, portfolio analysis, and the evaluation of opportunistic investment opportunities. You will perform work similar to that of a full-time analyst while gaining exposure to the firm's investment decision-making process.
What you'll do#
- Conduct diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Coordinate with advisors and consultants regarding due diligence items.
- Build company financial forecasts and valuation models.
- Contribute to investment memoranda.
- Monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies.
- Track market developments and economic trends.
- Develop skills in public speaking, research, financial modeling, presentation building, and project management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
- A focus in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Exceptional academic performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A self-starter mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Analytical, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- A keen interest in investing.
