About the role#
A Supplier Engineer leads projects to drive the onboarding of components for manufacturing plants. You will work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business needs. This role focuses on maintaining quality and regulatory compliance while supporting supply chain objectives.
What you'll do#
- Build partnerships with global suppliers to plan and coordinate engineering work.
- Identify and lead Value Improvement Projects and cost optimizations.
- Partner with project management offices to support supplier engineering tasks.
- Lead or participate in project teams to improve supplier processes.
- Drive troubleshooting and problem-solving at supplier facilities.
- Support other engineers with acquisition or sustaining projects.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and product quality in all tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Materials Science, Chemical, Electrical, Biomedical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Previous engineering experience in manufacturing, supplier engineering, or quality.
- Ability to commit to one of the following program periods: May 17 to August 6 or May 24 to August 13.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Reliable transportation to the Arden Hills location.

- Location: Arden Hills, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week.
- Employment Status: Full-time internship.
