About the role#
This internship with the Cardiac Diagnostics team focuses on mobile health solutions and remote monitoring services. You will join efforts to create and maintain wearable medical devices, including the PatientCare Platform and BodyGuardian family, designed to support patients with cardiac arrhythmias.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the development of new and existing wearable medical devices.
- Assist with product commercialization by supporting design control processes, testing, and documentation.
- Generate technical documentation such as Hazard Analysis, design specifications, test protocols, and test reports.
- Coordinate with domestic and international vendors to execute design concepts and product testing.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor or graduate degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Ability to commit to one of two full internship periods: May 17th to August 6th or May 24th to August 13th.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Reliable transportation to the Arden Hills office.
- Preferred: Experience in product development or the medical device field.
- Preferred: Knowledge of physiologic cardiac function and ECG signals.
- Preferred: Skills in technical writing, statistical analysis, and interpersonal communication.

- This is a paid, full-time internship located in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
- The role follows an on-site work model.
- This position is designated as safety-sensitive and requires a prohibited substance test.
