About the role#
This co-op position offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, including systems, software, mechanical, and electrical engineers. You will contribute to root cause investigations, reliability improvements, and new product development. Insulet focuses on your professional development, and you will work with a manager to set learning goals tailored to your interests.
What you'll do#
- Work hands-on with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, Instron machines, pressure transducers, OGP, and high-speed cameras.
- Identify bugs, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Participate in the design and development of low-power battery-operated devices.
- Design test procedures, run custom tests, and analyze data to support design enhancements.
- Manage project documentation, including protocols, reports, and design history files.
- Assist or lead engineering change orders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited BS program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- Mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong documentation, communication, and attention to detail.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 11, 2027 to June 30, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $25.00 to $34.00 per hour.
