About the role#
Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering students to join the MEP team in Orange, California. This is an on-site, full-time internship position starting in 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design and analysis of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
- Help create design documents and technical reports, such as electrical layouts, equipment schematics, one-line diagrams, and system calculations.
- Use technical software to analyze, produce, and quality-control client deliverables.
- Solve complex problems and collaborate with project managers and other disciplines.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations, along with company and client procedures and standards.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Location & details#
- Location: Orange, California.
- This is an on-site position.
- This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of $33 to $34.
