About the role#
Donohue & Associates is looking for engineering students to join our team for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms. This internship offers a look into the electrical and water/wastewater industry through an employee-owned firm. You will work alongside experienced engineers on projects for municipal and industrial clients.
What you'll do#
- Complete hands-on assignments that challenge your technical skills.
- Interact with engineers to learn about the consulting side of the industry.
- Gain insight into how we design infrastructure for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
- Work in teams to provide services to our clients.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an M.S. or B.S. degree in electrical, automation, or a related engineering program.
- We prefer candidates who have finished at least one year of study.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You are organized and manage your time well.
- You can work on your own or as part of a team.

- This role is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- The position is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship.
