About the role#
Donohue & Associates is looking for engineering students to join us for an internship during the Winter or Summer of 2027. You will work on hands-on assignments and interact directly with our engineers to learn about the consulting side of the industry. This is a full-time, paid position based in our South Bend office.
What you'll do#
- Work in multi-discipline teams to support municipal and industrial clients.
- Assist with projects related to drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Gain practical experience by collaborating with experienced staff on design and engineering tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in civil, environmental, or a related engineering program.
- We prefer candidates who have completed at least one year of study.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- You must be organized, able to manage your time well, and comfortable working both independently and in a team.

- This role is located in South Bend, Indiana.
- The position requires on-site attendance.
- Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this role.
