About the role#
As an electrical engineering intern at Olsson, you will perform hands-on work that connects your classroom studies to real-world projects. You will work alongside experienced staff to support engineering services for facilities like hospitals, schools, and laboratories. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Create construction documents and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist with electrical design services, including power distribution, lighting, and electrical modeling.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on project tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in either Dallas, Texas, or Fort Worth, Texas.
- The internship term is rolling.
