About the role#
This is a full-time, 12-week internship for Summer 2027. You will work on real-world challenges within the utility and energy sector. You will be paired with a mentor to help you apply your academic knowledge and grow your professional skills. The role involves working with cross-functional teams and participating in intern events to build your network. At the end of the program, you will present your project at the annual Intern Expo.
What you'll do#
- Apply your engineering knowledge to practical projects.
- Use industry-relevant software and tools.
- Communicate effectively with your team.
- Protect physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets.
- Manage private customer data and proprietary information with integrity.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

- This position is based on-site in Westminster, California.
- The internship runs from May or June 2027 through August or September 2027.
