About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship for students pursuing engineering degrees. You will work on real-world challenges in the utility and energy sector while gaining hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools. You will work alongside a mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow your skills and build your professional network.
What you'll do#
- Apply your academic knowledge to projects that support the energy sector.
- Collaborate with a mentor and team members on assigned tasks.
- Present your work at the annual Intern Expo.
- Protect physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets, including managing sensitive data and customer information with integrity.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program or higher in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Environmental Engineering.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

- Location: Santa Ana, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May/June through August/September).
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with expectations to report to an SCE facility for a set number of days.
- Employment Type: Full-time and paid.
