About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on real-world challenges within the energy sector, collaborate with a mentor, and work with cross-functional teams. You will also present your project at the annual Intern Expo.
What you'll do#
- Apply your knowledge to projects and gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software.
- Build your professional network through intern events.
- Protect physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets.
- Manage private customer data and proprietary information with high standards of integrity.
- Demonstrate effective and open communication.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Applied Math.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Santa Ana, California.
- The work modality is hybrid, requiring some days at an SCE facility with the option to work remotely otherwise.
- The internship runs from May or June 2027 through August or September 2027.
