About the role#
This 12-week summer internship offers hands-on experience within the utility and energy sector. You will work on real-world challenges while developing your professional skills and expanding your network. You will be paired with a mentor to guide your growth and collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects. At the end of the term, you will present your work at the annual Intern Expo.
What you'll do#
- Apply your academic knowledge to energy sector projects.
- Collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams.
- Gain experience with industry-relevant software and tools.
- Protect physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets by managing data and sensitive information with integrity.
- Present your project outcomes at the annual Intern Expo.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Applied Math.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Santa Ana, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May/June through August/September).
- Work Modality: This is an on-site position. You will report to an SCE facility or field location.
