Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is seeking motivated students with a passion for cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operational excellence. This internship offers hands-on experience in enterprise security, cloud infrastructure, and Agile best practices in a collaborative and rewarding environment. What you'll do:Security Operations & Monitoring: Work alongside SOC analysts to monitor alerts, investigate threats, and support incident response using tools like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, CrowdStrike, and Proofpoint Tooling & Automation: Gain exposure to Cribl, CyberArk, and automation platforms used to streamline observability and access management Training & Development: Complete SOC Core Skills, Sentinel KQL training, and immersive labs. Participate in Cyber Tatanka for real-world simulation experience Collaboration & Mentorship: Engage with teams across Security Engineering, Application Security, and Access Management. Capstone Project: Tackle a challenge such as improving alert fidelity, automating infrastructure tasks, or enhancing observability dashboards.
