About the role#
Blood Cancer United is looking for a Campaign Fundraising Manager to join our team in Baltimore. This role focuses on building relationships with fundraising volunteers and implementing peer-to-peer fundraising products to meet revenue goals. You will work within a hybrid environment to advance our mission of finding cures for blood cancer.
What you'll do#
- Drive peer-to-peer fundraising to meet annual revenue budgets.
- Implement campaign standards across your event portfolio.
- Track key performance indicators to adjust activities and stay on schedule.
- Partner with the Campaign Development Director and Director of Campaign Excellence to build strategic plans.
- Build and manage a sponsorship pipeline by prospecting corporate partners and closing agreements.
- Collaborate with local and national teams to communicate our mission and resources.
- Organize local donor cultivation events and identify high-impact donors.
- Recruit and manage high-level volunteer committees.
- Research and network to grow our pipeline of volunteers and corporate partners.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a directly relatable role.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of sales channels, including digital and social media.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence others and lead volunteer groups.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and timelines.
- Strong collaboration skills when working with internal departments.

- Requirements: Travel within the designated area is required, along with occasional work during evenings or weekends. You may need to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
