About the role#
Blood Cancer United is looking for a Campaign Fundraising Manager to join our team in San Luis Obispo. This role focuses on building relationships with fundraising volunteers and implementing peer-to-peer fundraising products to meet revenue goals. You will work within our Sales and Business Development department to help us achieve our mission of finding cures for blood cancer.
What you'll do#
- Drive peer-to-peer fundraising efforts to hit annual revenue budgets.
- Implement organizational campaign standards across your event portfolio.
- Track and report on key performance indicators to manage progress and timelines.
- Partner with the Campaign Development Director and Director of Campaign Excellence to build strategic plans.
- Build and manage a sponsorship pipeline by prospecting and securing corporate partners.
- Collaborate with local regional teams and national shared service partners.
- Partner with Education, Services, and Health Research departments to communicate our mission and programs.
- Organize mission-centered donor cultivation events.
- Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer committees.
- Develop recruitment plans to secure new partners through independent research and networking.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a directly relatable role.
- Solid understanding of campaign success requirements, execution, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with multiple sales channels, including digital and social media.
- Strong collaboration, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and lead volunteer groups.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines effectively.
- Skill in influencing and persuading others.
Location & details#
- Location: San Luis Obispo, California.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $41 to $43 per hour ($75,000 to $80,000 per year).
- Travel: Local travel is required within the designated area.
- Schedule: Some evenings or weekends are required.
