About the role#
As a Campaign Development Director, you will lead staff teams to build relationships and implement peer to peer fundraising products. You will work to exceed revenue goals within the Albany market area while staying focused on the Blood Cancer United mission. This role involves both high-level strategy and hands-on management.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Education Services and Health Research departments to communicate our mission and priorities.
- Create and implement an annual strategic plan to hit revenue targets.
- Hire, manage, and train fundraising staff teams.
- Organize local donor cultivation events and identify high-impact donors for national stewardship.
- Recruit and support high-level volunteer committees.
- Grow corporate and volunteer relationships.
- Retain and upgrade sponsorships for all fundraising products.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7-8 years of relevant experience.
- A proven track record of success.
- Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Comfort with diving into the details when necessary.
Location & details#
- Location: Albany, New York.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment: Full-time.
- Travel: Up to 30% local travel required.
- Schedule: Some evenings and weekends are required.
