About the role#
As the Campaign Development Director for Visionaries and Student Visionaries of the Year, you will lead staff teams and manage relationships to meet revenue goals for Blood Cancer United. This role focuses on implementing peer to peer fundraising products within the Louisville market area to support our mission of finding cures for cancer.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Education Services and Health Research departments to communicate our mission and programs.
- Organize local donor cultivation events and identify high-impact donors for national stewardship.
- Create and implement an annual strategic plan to ensure the team hits revenue targets.
- Hire, manage, and train peer to peer fundraising staff.
- Recruit and support high-level volunteer committees and leaders.
- Grow corporate and volunteer relationships.
- Retain and upgrade sponsorships for all fundraising products.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7-8 years of relatable experience.
- A proven track record of success.
- The ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Comfort with managing detailed tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: Louisville, Kentucky.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Travel: Up to 30% local travel required.
- Schedule: Full-time, with some evenings or weekends required.
