About the role#
The Business Incentives Group (BIG) at BDO USA helps companies identify and claim government incentives for innovation and economic growth, such as the Research and Development Tax Credit. As a Summer 2027 intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a national consulting practice while working alongside professionals who serve clients across technology, manufacturing, life sciences, and other sectors.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the execution of multiple client engagements.
- Collaborate with BIG professionals on business strategies and internal processes.
- Build effective working relationships with team members and other firm employees.
- Conduct business development research to identify opportunities for new and existing clients.
- Develop your technical skills and contribute to the visibility of the BIG practice.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program with a focus on Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Communications.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
