About the role#
This Summer 2027 Tax Internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals at all levels to gain insight into the field. This role offers exposure similar to associate-level hires, including participation in interactive programming and training sessions to build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns for clients.
- Research tax regulation changes and develop tax planning skills at federal and state levels.
- Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support client engagements across various industries.
- Communicate regularly with team members on client projects through meetings, chat, and email.
- Develop accounting software skills through instructor-led courses and on-the-job training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- We strongly prefer candidates who plan to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure between December 2027 and August 2028.
