About the role#
REDW Advisors & CPAs is hiring an Audit Intern for our Salem, Oregon office. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date. You will work directly with our team to build your professional skills in a hands-on environment.
What you'll do#
- Work one on one with team members to develop basic accounting skills.
- Build and expand client relationships.
- Help the management team develop execution plans based on client expectations.
- Communicate project updates to seniors and managers, including items that impact billing or collections.
- Participate in the execution of planned audit approaches.
- Complete all assigned tasks and project areas.
What you'll need#
- You are within one year of being eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
- You have a minimum GPA of 3.2.
- You possess a basic understanding of accounting and reporting standards.
- You have a flexible schedule that allows for out of town travel.
- Knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and GASB standards is a plus.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
