About the role#
This Summer 2027 Tax Internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals at various levels to gain insight into the field. You will participate in interactive programming and training sessions designed to build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns, including return drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, and extensions.
- Research current tax regulations to stay informed and develop tax planning skills at federal and state levels.
- Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support client engagements across industries such as Technology, Real Estate, and Manufacturing.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members through meetings, chat, and email.
- Develop technical skills in accounting software through instructor-led courses and on-the-job training.
- Work toward CPA certification goals with access to firm-provided prep materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Preference is given to candidates planning to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure between December 2027 and August 2028.
