About the role#
This paid internship program provides hands-on experience in public accounting during the busy tax season. You will join an industry group to support our tax services and work directly on client engagements. The program runs from mid-February to mid-April.
What you'll do#
- Assist in providing quality tax services to our clients.
- Work as a team member on diverse client engagements.
- Help with tax scanning and tax return preparation.
- Develop a working knowledge of the microcomputer applications used by the firm.
- Build relationships with clients and internal staff.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic technical tax requirements.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 75% of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, including potential weekend work.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and focus on client needs.
- Status as a team player who is motivated to work in a busy environment.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Harrison, New York.
- The position is on-site and requires frequent local travel to clients and other firm locations.
- This is a part-time, paid position for Winter 2027.
- We are only considering individuals authorized to work in the United States. We do not provide work visa sponsorship.
