About the role#
This is a full-time, paid 8-week internship program running from mid-June through early August 2027. You will join an industry group to support audit services and gain hands-on experience with real client engagements. Each intern is paired with an advisor to support their professional growth throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Work as a team member on diverse client engagements.
- Conduct a market research project and present your findings to Firm leadership.
- Prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements.
- Draft financial statements using prescribed formats.
- Assist clients with routine accounting functions.
- Build professional relationships with clients and internal team members.
- Participate in community service and Firm-sponsored events.
- Develop a working knowledge of internal software and accounting pronouncements.
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic income tax functions.
- Follow Firm policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 75% of a bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university.
- Demonstrated progress toward CPA exam eligibility.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and focus on customer needs.
- Willingness to travel locally to client sites at least 80% of the time.
- Reliable access to a car or public transportation.
- Authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not provided).
