About the role#
This paid internship offers hands-on experience in public accounting during the busy tax season. You will join an industry group to support tax services and gain exposure to client engagements. The program runs from mid-February to mid-April 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with tax scanning and tax return preparation.
- Build relationships with clients and team members.
- Learn and follow firm policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic technical tax requirements.
- Use firm-standard software applications to complete daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 75% of a Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and focus on client needs.
- Motivation to work in a demanding environment.

- Location: Middletown, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Compensation: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour.
