About the role#
The Winter Tax Intern position offers students hands-on experience in public accounting during the busy tax season. You will join an industry group as a team member, assisting with tax services and gaining exposure to client engagements. This is a paid, part-time role running from mid-February to mid-April 2027.
What you'll do#
- Scan and prepare tax returns.
- Assist in providing quality tax services to clients.
- Build professional relationships with clients and internal team members.
- Learn and follow firm policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic technical tax requirements.
- Use firm-standard computer applications to complete daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 75 percent of a Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and focus on customer needs.
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Cranford, New Jersey.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Compensation: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on individual qualifications and experience.
