About the role#
REDW Advisors & CPAs is hiring a CAAS Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Phoenix, Arizona. You will work directly with an internship manager to develop foundational accounting skills and gain exposure to client services.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply basic accounting skills under the guidance of an internship manager.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Help develop execution plans to meet client expectations.
- Communicate project status or issues to Seniors and Managers regarding billing and collections.
- Participate in the execution of planned accounting tasks.
- Take responsibility for completing all assigned project areas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- A basic understanding of accounting and reporting standards.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines.
- A flexible schedule to accommodate the internship.
