About the role#
As a Tax intern, you will contribute to the finance team by performing hands-on work in U.S. state income tax compliance. This role provides exposure to corporate tax projects and offers direct access to finance leaders. You will gain practical experience to build a foundation for your future career in tax or finance.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the U.S. state income tax team to prepare state income tax returns for various corporate and partnership entities.
- Research state statutes to support tax return filing positions.
- Assist with additional tax projects as needed.
- Build a foundation for professional growth within the finance and tax fields.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
- Ability to manage your time effectively and solve problems creatively.
- Strong listening skills.
- An inquisitive nature with the ability to ask questions and apply what you learn to new situations.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative.
