About the role#
As a Finance and Accounting Leadership Program intern, you will contribute to the Allegion finance function through hands-on work. You will gain experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, auditing, internal controls, and long-range planning. This role involves direct interaction with senior and executive leadership.
What you'll do#
- Prepare detailed financial analysis and audit reports for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors.
- Develop tools and processes to help the global finance team reduce manual work.
- Provide review, feedback, and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial results.
- Execute audit plans and test internal controls while learning about Sarbanes Oxley.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- A general understanding of US GAAP.
- Ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings.
