About the role#
Platform Accounting Group is seeking a Tax Intern for the winter 2027 tax season. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Nashville, Tennessee. You will gain exposure to the tax return process for various business entities, including C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and individual returns.
What you'll do#
- Prepare federal and state tax filings.
- Identify and resolve technical tax issues.
- Research tax matters using firm software.
- Support professional tax preparers throughout the busy season.
- Assist the office in maintaining and enhancing client relationships.
- Manage multiple assignments in a team environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration degree program.
- Interest in a career within the public accounting industry.
- Strong technical skills in accounting and tax.
- High level proficiency with office technology and software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
- Capacity to give and receive constructive feedback.
