Tax Intern, Transfer Pricing - Summer 2027

About the role#

The Tax Intern, Transfer Pricing works with a team of consulting economists to help multi-national companies correctly price transactions between entities within their corporate group. This role involves examining economic conditions and industry trends, evaluating intercompany transactions, and consulting with clients to substantiate pricing. You will assist in ensuring client compliance with foreign and domestic tax regulations.

What you'll do#

• Conduct client interviews to gather information on corporate structure, functional responsibilities, risk distribution, and value drivers.
• Analyze industry and financial data to benchmark or document appropriate intercompany pricing policies.
• Perform financial analysis, including evaluating market penetration scenarios and calculating the value of intangible property.
• Prepare project reports detailing the firm's approach, research, quantitative analysis, and final results.
• Write industry overviews, functional analyses, and technical memos describing the analytical process.
• Create and deliver presentations to convey analysis results and recommendations to clients.
• Take interview notes, prepare summaries, and proofread reports for delivery.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Economics, or a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to produce initial drafts of technical reports.
• Ability to communicate directly with clients in a professional and confident manner.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
