About the role#
BDO USA is hiring a Tax Intern for our Core Tax Services team in Columbus, Ohio. This internship is for the Winter 2028 term. You will work on-site and gain hands-on experience by supporting our client service teams. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns and extensions.
- Use tax software to complete simple returns.
- Perform quarterly estimates.
- Assist with components of income tax provisions.
- Use referencing systems and workpapers that tie to the return.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting or a relevant field.
- Active pursuit of school credits required to become a CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
