About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working alongside experienced team members. You will assist with problem solving and fact-finding while beginning to build professional relationships. This role provides a unique perspective on the firm's practices and people.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a structured training program to learn accounting and auditing standards.
- Assist with various stages of the audit process using BDO methodology.
- Communicate with clients, creditors, and banks regarding audit issues.
- Prepare and document work in working papers using specific firm tools.
- Complete an assigned research project and present your findings to a panel of professionals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting.
- Active pursuit of school credits to become a CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.

- Compensation: $33.00 to $37.00 per hour.
