About the role#
BDO is hiring a Tax Intern for the Business Incentives Group (BIG) for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within a national consulting practice that helps companies identify government incentives, such as the Research & Development Tax Credit. This role provides hands-on experience in professional services, including project management and business development, while working alongside BDO professionals and innovation leaders across various industries.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the execution of multiple client engagements.
- Collaborate with BIG professionals to develop and implement strategies and processes.
- Build effective working relationships with team members and other BDO employees.
- Conduct business development research and identify opportunities for new and existing clients.
- Focus on the development of your own technical acumen.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
- Preferred fields of study include Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Communications, or Law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical and basic research skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
