About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a foundation for your career. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2028 based in Orland Park, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
- Apply accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow audit professionals at all levels.
- Participate in team building and training initiatives.
- Complete and present a marketing or research project.
- Attend social functions such as happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program.
- Status of two years from graduation.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites, including frequent same-day travel.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
